We had a trio of bi-fold doors installed during our home extension, and they are incredibly well-made and operate so smoothly.

I chatted with Sophie from Customer Service, and she addressed all our inquiries promptly and truthfully, assuring us that choosing IK Doors Online was definitely the best decision.

To start off, I received defective doors, which the company eventually acknowledged after I provided photo proof. Consequently, water doesn’t drain correctly from the front of the doors; instead, it seeps underneath and into our home (imagine big puddles forming inside after every rainstorm).

They finally sent someone to check it out, who told me directly that the track needed some adjustments, but later he falsely claimed the doors were installed wrong (which they definitely weren’t).

The entire experience has dragged on for over two months, and communication has been abysmal (they don’t answer calls, ignore emails, or respond at a snail's pace). Because of this, my internal flooring has suffered significant damage after the recent heavy rains. It feels like they couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction.

UK doors have washed their hands of any responsibility and won’t cover the costs to fix their mistakes. They did recently suggest sending a new bottom track/cill, but I’d have to pay someone to install it. That was a week ago, and I’ve followed up several times with no reply.

Now I see how they keep their prices low - shoddy quality control and awful customer service. I really wish I had spent a little extra to avoid all this hassle!

I got the doors a week later than the date I was told, but I managed to deal with it. The doors themselves are of decent quality, though the glazing rubbers were a bit short in the corners, and the handles weren’t the color I picked, but the customer service didn’t mention anything about it. I called to discuss the issues, and they offered to send new rubbers, but that would mean I’d have to deglaze the doors! All in all, they’re solid doors for a fair price, but they could pay more attention to the details. Still, I’d consider buying from them again.

The bi-folds are top-notch, simple to put up, and we’re really pleased with how it turned out. Excellent bang for your buck, and I’d definitely use them again.
